The EACH Coalition submitted letters to the Maryland PDAB ahead of expected cost reviews of the two drugs Jardiance and Farxiga. Prior to the meeting, the board revised its agenda to remove the review of the drugs, which is now expected to take place at a later meeting.
The letters highlight the limitations of UPLs to create savings for patients and outline the risk that patient access to these and similar medications in the class could be compromised due to increased utilization management.
