The first PDAB was established in Maryland in 2019 and since that time, more have been created in states across the country. Additionally, each year more and more states consider legislation to create a PDAB in their state.
The EACH/PIC Coalition has created an interactive map to help patients and advocates track the latest activity. Blue indicates states that have an approved or active PDAB; yellow indicates states where PDAB authorizing legislation has been introduced. Hover over each state for additional details about the latest activity of the board or legislators.
