About PIC
The Patient Inclusion Council (PIC) is led by patients and caregivers, as well as patient organizations and allied groups who regularly engage with the patient community. We aim to empower patients and caregivers to shape healthcare policy through peer-led education, perspective sharing, and activities to ensure patient-reported needs are incorporated into drug affordability solutions. The PIC operates both independently and in conjunction with the EACH Coalition.
Patient-Focused Solutions
Ensure drug affordability efforts focus on patient-reported challenges, not other stakeholder perspectives or assumptions.
Peer-Led Education & Guidance
Educate through peer-led guidance and peer-designed materials.
Patient Empowerment
Help patients and caregivers provide written and verbal comments to improve non-patient stakeholder understanding of unique challenges, needs, and priorities.
Collaboration Opportunities
Connect patients and caregivers to opportunities to be part of drug affordability state, board, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) initiatives in all phases of the process.
